Mod: Fitting an In-Dash TV (single din) system into an 03 G35 Sedan
What Up GRiders??
I just got an 03 G35 Sedan last Friday and found out about this "very helpful forum" over the weekend... after doing a lot of reading in here, I've been able to gather a lot of helpful information in order to find out that it is possible to install a Pioneer AVH-7500DVD into my car. (as you can tell i'm new to infinities)
Before proceeding to start ordering all parts needed for this mod, i wanted to ask for your opinion just to make sure that i am not ordering non-needed parts and/or everything i need in order to fit the in-dash tv into the car.
These are the parts that i've seen are recommended by most of you guys out there and these are the parts i'll be ordering:
1. Double Din Finisher ($63.99 from Grubbs: Part# 68260-AM913)
2. Double Din A/C Control Unit ( $199.99 from Grubbs: Part# 27500Al5010)
3. I will not order the double din bracket after i've seen many of you guys stating that "it is not" necessary to buy it as the car already comes with it
4. Once the mod is done and the Pioneer AVH-7500DVD is successfully installed. It should look like this (hopefully) The only thing missing will be some kind of cover to put in the 2nd bay/din
Now that you guys have seen what I'm going to be ordering... do you guys think that's everything i will need???
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post.

Thanks for your quick reply guys!
Most likely i'll be going to a local car audio shop to get the antenna cable but i did find the PAC-SWI X from www.crutchfield.com like GRider35 said. $69.99 + shipping
Oh and Doc, thanks for the heads up about the RCA cables.
Grider... about the bracket... it wasnt just you the one that said i wouldnt need it but "you" were the one that really convinced me "not" to do so LOL...
Believe me i was as frustrated as you just seeing how many people kept on asking the same question after several guys had already said "dont need it" IN THE SAME THREAD LOL
Once again, thank you all for the help and i'll be posting pics of the car once i'm done installing everything.

Another totally different way of doing this is the way I did it.
I installed the same headunit as you, and kept the stock headunit as an auxillary source.
Many more pictures here.
