Has anyone used this new oil in their g35? If so does it help or is it meh? I would like to know so I can run it soon as I’m close on a new oil change and I want to give my engine a “second” chance.

 

Look it up on BITOG and see what they think of it, then come back here and let us know what you find out.

 

I've used it for about 1500 miles. No difference. Still burning a quart every 400-500 miles. VQ35DE RevUp (Of course).

 

From what I read, it can take several oil changes to see results and it also depends on how bad is the sludge.

 

Correct. But that’s the tricky part. If I’m burning oil, I constantly have to top off with restore & protect.

Also, my oil change intervals will be a lot shorter (right now every 1000 to 1500 miles-i do a lot of stop & go traffic).


I’ve seen Valvoline say 4 oil change intervals, but no specific miles are indicated.
