haha, the buy it now is $2500, I got mine factory installed for $2,000.

Someone is going to be VERY upset when they try to install it. My guess is that it will be back up on Ebay within 2 months....

its been done before, but its a big pain in the ***. Just install a double din conv and get one of those nice eclipse navi's It will cost less and they still don't have that cheesey aftermarket look; plus you will get the touch screen.

should have gotten it to start with.

I too ponder about that startup screen being white... how did that happen?

That white screen is due to the DVD ROM he is using...It could have come from another Infiniti (Non G35). I wonder if there is a setting on our NAV right now in terms of display that will change the "start-up contrast"/background...

How much has it cost people (who did not DIY) to buy and install the whole DD kit (including DVD and navi, maybe the eclipse setup) Any prices would be helpful since I myself am looking to do this. Thanks

I so wish I knew about the DD kits before I bought my car. THe day I bought they had two identical cars, one with nav, one with spoiler. Should've gone spoiler and then put in the Avic D1 I wanted ..URRGH.

Sorry to hijack a thread, but does anyone have the 6.3 DVD disk they can burn? I think it's ridiculous that the company is charging $200+...
