avic d1 vs avic n2

hey guys i see so many post on installs and stuff..let me get the real story..

what are the main differences between the 2..obviously one is double din and the other not..i know one has a dvd player, but i heard avic d1 has startup alerts, motion alerts?can the people that actually have those units in their car chime in?

if i got the d2 do i need an external dvd player?is the n2 all inclusive?anything i need other than maybe backup camera?will the d1 support it?

outputs are the same?if i wanted to get preamp outs?

Didn't you just ask this a few days ago?

Anyway, here is a link to the comparison page off of pioneer's web site. It should answer most of your questions.

The D1 does need an external DVD player to play dvd-movies. And yes, the D1 does support a backup camera (also on pioneers site)

What do you mean by startup alerts and motion alerts? I think both have the standard GPS warning at startup.

Both have 2v, 100 ohm pre-outs. (also on pioneer's site)
