Few questions on double din (noob)

Hey, I bought my g35, of course the cd player dosn't work int it like many others. So I need to get an aftermarket deck, went around to shops today, have been gettin consistent $1000+ quotes just for a deck install. I read/searched about the double din kit as much as I could, still a little confused.

Stole this site from some other posts on here
http://www.grubbsperformance.com

I have an 03.5 sedan.
so to get an aftermarket deck to work (will probably just get a double sized deck so I dont have to deal with the cubby hole) I need to buy

68260-AM913 (double din finisher)

28038-AL700 (double din bracked w/o nav)
and
27500Al501 (double din ac control) I dont have dual climate either, so this is fine?

also, will my controls (specifically volume) work on the steering will after installed?

I plan on doing the kit, deck, components. already have a sub/amp/capicator that will be installed at the same time (JL 10w7 and 500/1)

any opinons/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cause I dont know too much about this stuff and just want to get it over with
thanks-

You don't need the 28038-AL700 (double din bracket) your G as one.
Steering wheel volume will not work. You need to get the PAC SWI-PS controller for it to work. Here's a link: http://www.pac-audio.com/products/pr...el%20Interface

Holla.

original will not work cuz original ac unit is combined w/ the bose head unit thats why u need to jdm one. You can however, solder the bottom from the original ac unit to the jdm one to keep your dual climate, otherwise u wont be able to use that.

grubbs does not seem to be advertising the 03-04 dd dash finisher. I have one question. I have willow interior. The willow dd finishers I have seen advertised have black bezels (trim) around the two outer vents (instead of grey/willow color). Are my eyes going bad or am I imagining this? I think somewhere I also read that you can interchange the ac buttons on the new ac controler with the old willow/grey color buttons. Is this true?
I am ordering the willow finisher from j's garage this weekend. I am looking for some advise. J's garage has the willow finisher listed as part #68260-AL712 (Double din dash in willow).

AC controller is still included in your Clarion HU. Not having dual climate saves you some soldering.
