Where's the OEM alarm brain? I need to add my shock sensor...

Can someone PM me with the location of the Factory Alarm brain?

I saw the DIY for adding the DEI Shock Sensor but I want to mount my sensor inside the cabin. If I can't find the brain then I will go back to my dealership or something. I really don't feel like running the wires ALL the way from the engine bay.

The OEM alarm brain is integrated in to the BCM, which is mounted in the drivers kick panel. At the BCM you can grab power, ground, and the trunk pin. If you use the trunk pin you can wire ground directly to ground. If you use a door pin you MUST wire the ground of the shock sensor to the ignition wire of the car. Also, if you have an '03 you can NOT use the door pin for the trigger.

KPierson & SFLG35, thanks that's exactly the info I was looking for.

I didn't want to run the wires because I new it would not be necessary and I also didn't feel like poking around with a test light. So thanks for the link to BoostedConcepts.com as I have printed that DIY and it looks very detailed... =)

Chris, any chance I can get your assistance with this mod? I'm afraid to mess with any wiring...
