Ipod Hook Up Usa Spec Pa11–nis And Pro Clip
Finally!!!! got the flippen ipod hook up with control @ the wheel...and also charges while in use with the latest PA11–NIS from usa spec peripheral and mounted it with the ProClip.
So you have control of the Ipod at the steering wheel? I went on USA Spec's website, and only see a PA10-NIS, which won't work for our vehicles. Where did you get the new model? How much? Thanks.
it's 149.99 saw it on one of the sights, here some one posted earlier....im in so. cal in industry....and have a straight up connection with the guy that deals them...and remember uts the PA11–NIS not the PA10–NIS.
So, just to clarify...Is that the only piece of equipment you need to hook up the iPod? Or do you still need an aux adapter such as the PAC AAI-NIS? Just wondering if I might change my initial game plan for hooking up my ipod. Does this unit charge and link the iPod directly up to the SAT port, or a different way? Sorry for all the questions, I am just very interested because I can't find any info on this unit. Thanks.
Um, I'm sorry...Is that a "yes" to all of my questions?
1. Do you still need an aux adapter as well as the USA Spec item?
2. And does it connect to the SAT port?
3. And I thought of one extra question. How do you link up your steering wheel controls? Normally you would need an additional piece of equipment. Does the USA Spec do it all?
Thanks again

OK, thanks. I did find a place that sells the PA11, however, it says it will only work with Infiniti vehicles that have a CD changer option. I have a 2003 G35, so not sure if it would work with my vehicle. Anyone else know? When you want to use your iPod, what button do you press on your headunit to activate the PA11? In other words, with the PAC AAI-NIS, you hit the SAT button, and it changes from aux 1-aux 2. How do you control this unit? Why haven't more people used this device? Thanks guys!
Well, reading a little more, it says you have to disconnect your CD changer. So I am assuming that means we would have no CD player at all? That would kinda suck. I suppose that might be why alot of people don't do it. So I am assuming you have to hit the "CD" button to activate it, then use the regular up/down buttons to change throught the tracks. Is this correct?
Well it looks nice, anyhow...Congrats. I would appreciate if anyone else knows what the deal is on this device, please chime in. My main curiosity is how you activate the unit as stated in my previous post(s).
MOst of those instructions refer to any trunk-mount CD changer - they are never referring to the in-dash CD changers.
We get this question all the time - wish the instructions for all these units were better.
