anyone use edead??
instead of the grossly overpriced dynamat option has anyone used edead? http://www.edesignaudio.com/category.php?type=damp I have read that it has an oder when installed. If you have is this just from the adhesive? Or does it linger for a while and then goes away? Thanks!!!
I used eDead v1SE2 do do my whole trunk. There was no smell at all from it, and it works great. Did whole trunk including spare tire hole with about 35 sq ft. Also did license plate in the rear and I get no rattle at all from my trunk, sound stays in the car very well also.
I just used 80 square feet and did my whole trunk, behind the rear seat, on top and underneath the rear deck, and both front doors. Very little smell just at first, then it goes away shortly (very minimal), most asphalt-based deadeners will have a minimal smell from the adhesive. I can truely say that the stuff works, the bass is focused, and the road noise is deaffened quite a bit. I'd definately reccomend it.
