Aux Input Install/ Rip out dash

I have a Blitzsafe PAC AAI-NIS and I cannot seem to find any installation instructions on this site. I am sure they are posted somewhere, if one of you all know where they are, could you please post the link here? I installed this myself on my old Jetta, but as you the head unit is integrated into the dash on the g35 and it looks pretty labor intensive. Is this something that I should even attempt myself, or should I leave it to a professional? I dont want to put the dash back together and be hearing rattles and squeeks for the rest of the car's life.

I used these directions. It's not specifically for the PAC, but it explains how to get the dash disassembled to gain access to the plugs.

What year is your G35? If you have a 2005+ it's much easier because you only need to remove the center console. For pre 2005, you can follow the instructions at G35Ipod.com.

Thank god! I thought I was going to cry when I saw all of those steps. Good thing I've got an '05. NE1 have a link to the center console removal steps?

If it makes you feel any better, after one or two times all those steps compress down to about 20 minutes of disassemble time. I even have a little compartmentized (is that a word?) screw holder for each step

As you can guess, I've done it quite a few times now.

Heh, another reason to hate me: I've got an 05, so when I put my digitalwheelz screen in for my CarPC, it will be much easier...

You can use the G35Ipod.com instructions but start at step 17. After step 20 you'll need to remove the trim pieces on each side of the console. There's a screw on each side of the console to remove and then just grab the end, rotate it up and pull out. Easy. The clock is also different. Remove the trim piece above and in front of it. The screw holding the top of the aluminum bracket is below the clock. You don't need to remove the clock.

Success!! Thanks for all the help! On my old car I had to ground my aux adapter, but I didn't do so for the G35. It that what the blue wire was for? Oh well, everything seems to work fine for now.
