Sure that it sounds good... can you get the EQ LED's changed to green?

LoL one of the many reasons its coming out. It does sound good, but Im tired of the noise floor issues with Eclipse. In alot of cars its not noticeable, unfortunately in mine it is.
I can and Brad @ Arc would be more than willing to do so, but Im too lazy to pull it out.

The Arc DXE is my processor/crossover/EQ with the capabilities of running my 4 way active setup. I primarily only use the 5 bands of the parametric on the DXE as well.I dont use the CD7000 for anything more than a transport and some TA. Its actually coming out shortly in favor of a Nak MB-X.

what's the noise floor issue?
what's the noise floor issue?
TA = Time Alignment, or "delaying" the signal.
Nak = Nakamichi, MB-X= theyre higher line in dash changer unit.
Noise Floor...hmm to simulate the best I can would be to say the "empty" or "hollow" hissing sound that older casette players had prior to pressing that magical Dolby B/C noise reduction button. Its pretty much in all units, just some more noticeable than others. Primarily when running a semi high powered active setup.

well, ur actually kinda wrong there buddy (big sash). the ipc 106 allows you to charge ur ipod of course, and use ur unit controls. the track info is displayed on the avn as well, if you select that "TITLE' function. If you look at the picture closer, u'll see that i also have an av connection on the top, as well as the ipc 106 dockign plug. so, i can use either one. . .if i use the av connection, i can control everythign using my ipod, and everythigni s displayed on my ipod. I actually perfer that over the ipc 106, though of course, it does not get charged with the AV. yea, Circuit city installed the ipc. I talked to the lead guy there for a while, and made sure he knew what he was doing, and apparently, he installed this on other g35's in teh past. He was really cool, and def seemed knowledgeable enough to do the deed, plus, if anything would have messed up, than it woudl be no hassle to get it fixed. either way, the end resutl was great, and everythign works the way it should.

wait so how was i wrong? i wasn't wrong, i was right regarding the IPC not your weird RCA to miniplug connection which reduces audio quality compared to the Dock connector which does not rely on the ipods internal miniplug output amplifier. Noticeable difference in audio clipping to my ear on my tuned system.
I also have AV inputs but I use them for my Archos Pocket Video Recorder and have them located out of sight in the upper cubby hole.
Either way i like your set up and now I understand why you wanted the ipod accessible (for direct control through your RCA input)
Nice job, you and I are probably a few of the only G drivers with the IPC

Don't forget about me Sash. I have mine tucked away in my glovebox. Although I noticed a big difference in sound quality between CDs (noncompressed) and IPOD!! Makes me not want to listen to anything else but CDs.
