She knows a thing or two about the 'fun' button. And, I could never tell my Mom no. Especially after I wrecked HER car when I was 16. She doesn't drive it often, but she does like to take it for an occasional spin!

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

doesnt look that bad. i put my small cap on the 2 connections that are circuled. you might want ot put something to insulated the connection between your larger cap where it connects to the power input and the ground lead right next to so they dont touch, cause that could short your system out.

Went back about 4 pages and I got the impression that the half/full window problem had been fixed, but nobody really came out and said it. Has it been?

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

yes it has been fixed. the cap that fluffy posted pics bout is the one that fixes the problem. his will now continue to roll the other window up the rest of the way when the other one hit the top.

all problems that we have found have been fixed and everything works the way it should. we have also not found any new problems, so it appears that it will work for everyone now.

you should tell kevin to stop being lazy and get to updating the boards and opening the website so you can order them.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Thanks SFLG35,

I think i might cover some of my solder points with hot glue or epoxy just to be safe. (wouldn't want anything to fall off if some one slams the door)

but the angle of that picture is kinda misleading... the legs of the cap are actually no where near the trace on the board.

so I will try to install it in my car tonight. hope everything goes smoothly and I don't short out my car =\

will report back when I am done

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

haha you are so funny Dan.

I spent all night last night resoldering the boards I had already made. Tonight I'm going to box them all up and start testing them. I only have about 15 ready for this. Then, its back to building them from scratch again. I also have to get some of the VDC modules ready also. In addition, I am still working on finishing up the programming for the sunroof module that is in the works. So
1. I am not lazy (although at times I do lack motivation)
2. I will be working about 50 hours at my 'real' job this week
3. On top of the 50 hours a week I work I spend, on average, about another 10 -12 hours dealing with SFLG35

Hahaha. I tried to think of a really funny #3 but failed miserably. Better luck next time I guess. Seriously though, I'll have some for sale in the very near future (< 2weeks).

Our site is done and all our paperwork has gone through, so all we are really waiting on are the parts to finish up everything, and most of them came yesterday. Just so I can get an idea of how many people are interested still drop me a PM, that way I can better estimate the amount I need to build to have a solid inventory.

Thanks,

Kevin

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Kevin,

I've lost track of the applicability to the sedan. Will the unit you are about to sell work with the sedan? (recognizing that the RAP has to be disabled for the door unlock to function - as we've discussed before).

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Hey kevin...

Wanna post more info about the Sunroof control module you are talking about?
what will it do?

right now, I find it really annoying that the windows and sunroof stop working right when I turn off the car.... unless you don't open the door or take your key out..

but I think there is a setting in BCM for this or isn't there?

will we be able to close the sunroof with remote as well?
