Don't push it 'I have no problems' boy!

I guess I can send you out a new one, but its such a small change in the code that I don't think it will change your car at all, since you don't have any problems now!

Kevin, do you think 'releasing both together' will happen on or before 5/29? You know I want that VDC module. Badly. I've decided the windows would be nice too. The reason I ask is I'll be driving past Dayton on the 29th... If you were gonna be around and one or the other or both were ready, well...

well through my rigourous testing of the one window very slightly down and the other all the way down turning no problems, i figured mine was workin. but you will be the first to hear bout it if it screws up, thats for sure.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Hopefully they will both be ready within 10 days of today. The VDC module is ready to go, I just have to assemble them, and I want to test the window mod a little more just to make sure everything is cool with it!

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

I think I've been following this long enough to know what 'hopefully' means. The VDC mod is ready, I will contact you closer to my driveby date, perhaps you will respond to my PM.

Good luck buddy. When I was 18 I had my two lowers cut out. Top ones weren't in yet. The experience was so unpleasant I promised myself the top ones could stay in until they gave me more trouble than that experience. Its getting close now, but that's 30 years.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

haha, yeah we keep experiancing unavoidable setbacks. The last thing I want to do is start selling something that isn't ready for the market. Its bad for my my name and its bad for a small company. A week from today, on May 13th, I will be having my wisdom teeth hacked out. I have taken the entire week of from my 'real' job so I should have plenty of time to build up our stock pile.

key words: "entire week," "'real' job," "should," and "stock pile"

o yeh i forgot to add i love how people think they can take the air conditional controller off the wall and leave an engineer in the house and think he wont be able to turn it back on.

gotta love of them

Kevin,

Just a thought for version 2. How about a smart key like the one in the Lexas commercial. All you have to have is the key in your had and the doors unlock when your a foot away? JK =) Can't wait for the mod!

>>This saturday, May 8th, I am looking for some more BETA testers. I want the testers to come to my house in Dayton and have units installed by me....

Guys,

For all the begging and proding you're dishing out to Kevin, do you think you could comply with his one simple request?

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

I still only have one definate particapant, and he is coming from Chicago. A nice 5 hour drive. If anyone has some free time get a hold of me - PM me I'll be checking it throughout the day.

For lack of participation maybe I'll just sell these modules to Z owners!!!!! hehe, just kidding.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Dan, when you were at zfest, you weren't using the keyfob were you? You were just running around with that little black box with a big grin on your face!!

I need that VDC switch/fix. Has anyone else installed it??

Do I get a package deal if I get both?

2004 G35C 6MT Black. What Honey? I don't know where they came from. I came home and it was like that...

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

yeh i was using the keyfob. you must not have been payin close attention. the little black box was the one that i was goin to let one of you guys have but since i decided i wanted to fry the micocontroller while cutting it out, i couldnt sell it to any of you so i just was using as a demo.

as for the vdc, i have the one out of kevin's car. so we know that it works. right now i am not sure if kevin has put another one in his car or not. if he hasnt them im the only one with it right now.

as for package deals i'm not sure since im not part of the business. just a tester with some solidering skills.

hows the popcharger treeatin you? you have the same problem wes did?
