4080 Box

Can someone shed me some light to how you can take out the old speaker from the 4080 box. I want to upgrade my speaker but for the life me. I can not figure out how to take the speaker out. If someone can give me some diy info it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What kind of sub is in the box? Is there any visible screws around the outside ring of the sub?

I take it you had someone else initially install the current sub? If you installed the sub, just reverse the steps. Look for the screws along the outer edge of the sub basket. Good luck.

You need to take the cover off the rear deck to get to the screws. I went through that whole process in this thread...

The rest is easy - even if you were retarded. (no offence)

Thanks for the info. But I meant the 4080 box not my car.
