Just received this email from the company i purchased the aux input unit from:
Hello from ShipSound,
We just wanted to let you know that the AAI-NIS2 that you ordered has recently been replaced by the new aPAC-NIS1 adapter. The aPAC-NIS1 performs the exact same functions and is compatible with the exact same vehicles, but it has inhanced functionality. It is also compatible with even more vehicles and comes with two sets of RCA cables. Although it retails for $30 more, we have opted to give you a free upgrade to the new model.
Will this new unit still work for my application?

Just installed my aPAC-NIS1. The guys at PAC said the NIS1 was what I needed for my 06 AT sedan. Quite a few people on here have used the NIS2 (on the smae model/year as mine), so I'm sure either will work.
Extremely easy install with the pic-by-pic DIY. Really Appreciate it!
Took me about 50min.. but a good 15 minutes were taken up because one of the little plastic clips fell down by the shifter and I had a hell of a time getting it out since the space is soo tight. I also took my time to not scratch anything and was a little nervous about how hard I had to pull on the trim pieces to remove them- I had to pull just about as hard as I could, but nothing broke I ran mine up into my cubby above the radio (no-nav) and will hardwire a charger and install a mount during lunch time some other day.
Now I can listen to internet radio on my Droid X

Hello
I installed a PAC AAI NIS 2 into an Inifiniti G35 Sedan, 2004, non-bose factory stereo with Sirius Radio. The system works great, but my head unit display only shows 'ANTENNA' when on the SAT setting, even when I try to press the various display buttons. Could the PAC unit be the source of the issue?
Thank you in advance

Performing my AUX cable setup using Isimple now. I want to add a 12V socket and I want to tap into the wires at the 12V socket next to the ashtray. Question, which red wire coming off the plug that powers the 12V ashtray socket should I use to tap into or does it matter? There is a red with black stripe and a red with blue stripe. Thanks for any help.
