DIY guide: KPtechnology fog module install
85 and 86 are the coil - there must be 12vdc across these two pins to energize the relay.
If you can hear a relay click only with the headlights on then that is the OEM fog light relay clicking, not the KPtech relay. It sounds like your problem is definately between Pin 85 and Pin 86 (although its hard to say which one).
One thing I would also check are the pins in the harness - sometimes if you push the relay back in the socket and it's a little crooked it can push the pins out the bottom.

has anyone ever had a problems with the fog light module on their coup?I've been having these problems and just wanted to know if they are common.I have a manual, when I stall going up on my driveway my fogs will turn off even when the switch is on.I try turning the fogs off that's when the fog lights comes on..just a quick explanation of my problem and just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem, and if so how did you fix it..thanks.
yes I do have an 07 coup..took the car back to the installer and they looked at it again and said it might be the module itself?but I don't know..
Giving this thread a try but was anyone able to get this to work on an 2003 g35 coupe? If so wat'd u do. And for those that got it to work wat year is Ur car?
