DIY: How to Properly Aim 06+ Coupe Projectors
hrmm, i am turning the gears, but i dont really see much difference in the cutoff point when i turn it. Is the whole HID projector suppose to move or just the bulb inside?
My driver's side is brighter than the passenger side. I've tried adjusting it yesterday at about 5-10 feet in my garage just to see if the cutoff point that is shine at my wall moves. But it didnt seem to make any difference. I tried turning it both ways.

this is insane sharped... i did my clear lenses mod / color mod and its not anywhere near looking like this...
i went to try again. this time i did it properly. parked my car on a level surface. measured from my projectors to the wall 25ft. Measured the height from the ground to the center of my projectors which is about 27 1/2 inches. Adjusted it properly... however. for 'C' which is the distance between the 2 slopes measured about 60 inches on the wall. But the actual distance between my center point of the 2 projectors are about 56 inches. Will this be ok?
I also notice when driving behind a black vehicle at night that from a distance that the driver's side is a bit blue'er than the passenger side. Not sure what the problem is. But I did everything correctly in this DIY.
Do you guys also notice this?
Redlude, that sample picture you posted. that is one sharp cutoff line and slopes. What car is that from? I wish mine was that sharp!

SAME PROBLEM, ANY HELP?
My opinion is that my passenger's side bulb(right) is malfunctioned.
But Seeing some ppl have the same problem as me.
Can anyone explain this?
AS for other g35 drivers, try reflecting your lights against a window
ex) resturant
And you may see that left is brighter than the right.

If you are looking at it from right in the middle, then the driver's side light should look brighter than the passenger side. Look at the way the steps work for the cutoffs. In the middle, the driver's side is in the high part of the cutoff while the passenger cutoff is in the lower step. If you get low enough to be below both cutoffs the brightness should be the same, or if you look at the car from an angle either to the left or right side they should look the same if they are aimed correctly. Do no gauge the appearance of the headlights by looking at them directly. Go find a wall and look at the cutoff that is produced. It is all explained in the first post, just follow it.

THis is what my headlights look like when viewed directly from the middle above the cutoffs, notice the driver's side appears brighter. They are aimed perfectly.

way to much work if you don't know what you are doing.
