yeah, molds were not available a couple of months back when I made mine. Maybe I would had gone that route, and it would had save me tons of time. But never the less I'm happy, it came out tight.
Thanks Yours looks excellent as well.

Bondo works fine. I haven't had any cracks on my grill and I don't think Marcus has either.

Its on my car now and I really like the way it looks as it is. Now the only thing that's bothering me is how the headlights stand out so much, I might have to get some eyebrows for them. I'll post pics in a little while.

Quote: So its painted... Its sitting in my house right now and I'm contemplating just putting it on my car as is. I might give it a try to see what I think, then maybe go back and wet sand/polish it in teh future.
What color did you get on it?

I'm busy studying for a B law exam so I snapped these real quick when I got off work. I hate taking pictures of my car when its dirty but you guys get the idea.

Something looks funny in this picture but it must be the reflection. Everything looks perfect in person.

for those of you have done this DIY what was the cost of all the tools needed to perform this including the paint? I want to do this myself but I want to get an idea of how much I would be spending from start to finish.

+1 on what Shane said, it'll cost you ~$60 (excluding a spare grill) to complete the DIY. Just remember to take your time.
