I think most people, and myself, do half inch. Car to car, it varies. On a flat surface, tape measure from fender edge to wheel edge. Compare front measurement to rear measurement and there's your number to cut. But give yourself some padding, you want to consider about rear passenger or full tank gas.

Replace new springmounts when changing different spring.

I bought a new set to mod. When the car gets sold, the originals go back on and I sell the modded ones.

Awesome. This mod sounds simple and an easy way to get another inch of drop or so.

BTW, how are those H-techs? I'm still trying to figure out what springs or coilovers I want to buy... I used to have Tanabe Sustec coilovers on my RSX and it awesome for daily driving. I would love to have a similar suspension with the G...something that feels softer or just as soft as stock, but has the ability to lower me to the ground. I know I'm off topic, haha sorry

how is everybody's ride on the htechs and with this mod? I put in the 350z htechs yesterday and I also did this mod but the back seems a little unstable @ low speeds and a little more bouncier than the fronts. However, on high speeds or on turns, it seems fine. Anyone else have this issue?

Before and after this mod, the ride quality seem exactly the same, infact I like it even better because I actually feel the car is sitting lower.

Have you had an alignment? Since you put them in at the same time, you have no idea where this unstability is coming from. It could be from worn shocks or just a different feeling since the springrate you are used to could be significantly different if you had an 05+ with OEM 19's

I haven't had an alignment yet...I'll get that done as soon as I get the rear camber kit.
