Not sure if Twin is even around anymore, but if so, thanks for this thread!
This is the only thread on this I've found so I might snap some pics while I do it to help complete the DIY. \
Also, purging/bleeding brakes:
Bleed air in the following order. Right rear brake → Left
front brake → Left rear brake → Right front brake
1. Connect a transparent vinyl tube to bleed valve.
2. Fully depress brake pedal several times.
3. With brake pedal depressed, open bleed valve to release air.
4. Close bleed valve.
5. Release brake pedal slowly.
6. Repeat steps 2, through 5, until clear brake fluid comes out
of bleed valve.

Great thread. Got my akebonos install pretty easy. Before i start my installation i was trying to find out if they would fit over my sport g35 wheels and i couldnt find anything bout it. So i just try them and the fronts fit very tight. U have no space between the calipers and barrel barely 1mm. Here are some pics for anyone looking for pics in the future. By the way i went over a pothole and bend the wheel i started to hear a knockle sound i figure out the wheel was heating the caliper had to put my donur..
edit: i was using 25mm spacer.. with out the spacers in the front they wont fit.

probably spoke on the equips. All the offset is in the lip, not the center, if that makes sense. So the spokes are actually really close to the hub/centerline.
Then again, there's really only one way to find out. Find someone with Akebonos and try it. Unless you want to do that silly 'Measuring' thing that people talk about (people, pfffft)
I could be completely wrong too, the equips aren't aweful for barrel, as long as the spokes have enough offset it might work.
Are you running spacers? That would help your chances.
I do know that the G37S 19" spokes are actually within a few mm's on the front, not a ton of room there, and those spokes are out quite a bit. When the 19's were on stock brakes I could stuff a rabbit in there and still be good.
