I also have to do this, not quite 65,000 miles, however, i just ordered SKF hub-bearings from Rockauto, i am in Minn. however the car hasn't really been driving in the crappy minn. salt winters very much, So the real prob. is > just getting the bearing-hub assembly< out of the aluminum Knuckle right? but its still a 12 year old car, I just don't want to take the whole slanted aluminum knuckle out of car, (both sides) How much beating and banging would it take on the car? (thats how i got my 2000 taurus ones of, out) LOTS of beating on the hub flange, to get some separation, and lots of PB blaster, I def. appreciate the right up Mustang5!!!! and photos, i just thought they'ed last alot longer.....

Back the hub mounting bolts off a little ways and use a hammer-drift on the face of the bolt to remove, you can do this with the steering knuckle on the vehicle for RWD models, should be able to with AWD ones as well.

Just finished this today! went pretty well, the 2nd gen cars, 07 and up are much easier then the photos of the first gen cars, just remove brake caliper, bracket, rotor, and the steering stop. then remove anti-lock sensor, then, ( if you have the whole front end up) u can turn the steering, back and forth to get at the 4 17mm bearing bolts, then a few whacks with a hammer, and the bearing and backing plate, is off, out! clean everything up, and use a little anti-seize on the hub carrier, and back of rotor, > on new hub face< and put back in reverse order. The cool thing about the 2nd gen cars is, NO taking off, tie rod end, upper spindle bolt, ball joint, and there is no compression rod on 2nd gen cars. 67,000 miles on my car, and the driver side was junk, very noisy, and ruff, pass front was better but changed em both..... btw, forgot to mention the axle nut on the X's that is a 31 mm monster.....
