ARC Strut TOWER Bar!

http://www.injectedperformance.com/V...ID=3820&VID=20

Does that fit with OEM hood? and will a 5/16 spacer be able to fit under it?

Whats up Eric (Klumzyee),

In my review of this product, from what I can tell, no. The ARC STB will not fit "as is" with a 5/16ths plenum spacer. You could possibly add some washers (spacers) to raise the brace up enough to clear the plenum, but then you will more than likely run into hood clearance problems with the stock hood. These cars (G35's) have very tight under hood clearances, this makes these STB's pretty hard to make. Our VRT strut tower braces are designed to fit and work very well with any plenum or plenum spacer, because it mounts in front of the plenum.

Check out the link to the thread on it......

The brand name also adds a few $$$ not to mention the lack of competition for G35 strut tower bars.

I suppose......, but We use aircraft grade 4130 chromolly, which is not realy much cheaper (or much heavier) than titanium.
IMO, I would rather have a STB that realy works well for its purpose (which is more precise handeling due to more front torsional rigidity) than a desighn that is more prone to flex. (due to the ARCing desighn and meterials used) No pun intended
