Steering issues since lowering springs installed

Since I had Eibach Proline springs installed on my 03 sedan, the steering seems to wander a bit, but it doesn't pull nor does it drift when I release the wheel on a smooth road. I also have the Tokico D-Spec shocks and have softened the front up a bit. That seemed to help a little, but the issue is still there.

After the install, the car was aligned, but perhaps the shop did not understand lowering spring considerations. I don't know one way or the other. Also, I don't understand the negative camber issues except that I thought it was not a factor when lowering only one inch.

Can anyone identify the problem and a solution?

Steering problems after suspension work and no mention of visiting the alignment shop pretty much means the car is acting up because it is not aligned properly.

Anytime [anyway] you lower body the camber increases [goes more negative] by ~~0.8 degrees per inch. Also the TOE changes and the bump steer increases.

The entire suspension was designed [optimized] at one particular ride height.

OK, as I said, the car was aligned after the springs and shocks were installed.

Now, the steering wanders somewhat. That is, steering overcorrects or results in a change in direction that is too large for the steering movement. But when the wheel is not moved, the car seems to hold pretty true.

But is the bottom line here alignment? Is that the problem and solution?

IF the suspension components have enough range to return the misalignment to the exact midpoint of each oem factor [camber, caster, toe,] range........THEN the steering will still be off [toe change curve] because the rack has been lowered and creates the tie rod angle.

Not something that can be fixed by alignments. SPECIAL Tie rod ends and spacers are required to level the tie rods.

Wow i ahve this exact same problem and i just took it back to the alignment shop. They said it was my Vehicle Assited Steering ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????First time i hear of that....I know when i first got it aligned by them the Caster was 9.5 and i think stock it should be 8.5. I dont know if that is the problem or not. but its starting to tick me off. I wasted half a day from work. Did you ever get this problem fixed I need to know.....

By the way i have the Stech with SPC front and rear camber arms the tociko D spec shocks. I just called Lokey and they are gonig to call me back.
