so i was in my minivan and i was making a turn to merge with traffic going probaly 25-30 and my car skids (right after rain, hit a puddle) and slams into concrete island, i bent my axle a bit, how much do you think repair will be (ballpark) thanks

 

well new axle and possibly: upper and lower control arms, compression rod, shock assembly...i would go through insurance

it wasnt a G it was cough* minivan cough* but i dont actually own it i am borrowing it from family cuase im out of a car until the 07 gets heren man this sucks anyone have a guess to how much its gonna cost

 

Dude, just call a couple of autoshops and ask them how much it would be to replace the front axle on your minivan (just assume that's all that's wrong with it). That'll give you a good idea.

 

i'd say in the 4k range if its a bent axle.

4k? what you smoking? Most axle jobs we do is 180-225 with rebuilt axle saft with install. But I'm pretty sure his control arms ,tie rods,etc are damaged.
