won't matter. all slots do is allow gas to escape when brake pads heat up. also, helps with preventing brake pads from glazing over. do it - it won't change your brake bias.

What year is your car and how many miles do you have? Dont they cover that under warranty?

i have an 03 with 45k...i doubt they would cover under warranty because i have project mu pads and they would use that to get out of replacing my rotors...i was just wondering what you all would think about JUST replacing the fronts now and sometime down the road doing the rears

Agree with codeflux - go ahead and replace the fronts. And yeah, you'd have a snowball's chance of getting Infiniti to replace the rotors period, regardless of what modifications you've made, because it generally is not covered under the warranty.

The 03-04 brake warranty was for 36K miles. No chance for warranty coverage.
