simplest way of lowering '05 coupe...

just get stock 350z springs...revised or unrevised depending on the year of your car..sell for pretty cheap. i got mine for 50 bucks local and dropped my car almost an inch

^^ agreed; the '05 19" coupes have stiffer rear springs, so you may want to consider the revised z springs to keep your spring rate similar (ride feel) and still get the drop. you may also want to consider getting the corresponding z dampers with the springs. you can often find a lightly used set of dampers and springs for a good price.

search the forums on revised springs and you will find lots of good info to consider.

Most people who got the z-springs for the 05/06 w sport suspension got little to no drop in the rear, so that may or may not work depending on your setup. I don't recall who did it, but maybe search and see who performed this mod, and PM them to see if their springs finally settled to a reasonable drop

Rookie! Everyone knows the new way is to blowtorch the springs while jumping up and down on the car until its the right height. NOONE cuts springs anymore...

THE simplest way to lower the coupe is to let all the air out of your tires. Prolly takes 10 mins to do all 4.
