Group Buy: 350EVO Camber Adjustable Front Control A-Arm

-Gauging Interest Purpose-

Hello People,

I just talked to Mike @ 350evo.com to set up a group buy for "350EVO Camber Adjustable Front Control A-Arm", he said the best he can do is $800 shipped on each unit but we are going to need 15 people at least. Please note that the original price of this unit is $849.95 and that's not including shipping/handling.

So I would like to know if anybody would be interested in this group buy.

I want to get a set for my car as well but I want to buy it cheaper than the original price as I can do and that's why I'm gauging on this group buy right now. There is no personal profit except I'm getting one for $800 shipped same as you guys. I'm going to need to become Premier Member to run this group buy in later time.

This G35 camber adjustable front control a-arm kit allows for complete camber adjustment of the G35 front suspension. The sliding camber plate design makes camber adjustments quick and easy using just a 13mm wrench. No suspension disassembly is required to change or fine tune your G35's camber. These G35 suspension arms are made from CNC machined aircraft aluminum using a sliding camber plate with mono-ball design. The G35 control arms even come powder coated against corrosion. This G35 suspension kit is complete with the mono-ball that fits in the OEM G35 upright and the spherical bearings that mount to the chassis. Using the mono ball and spherical bearings make the suspension move freely which results in crisper steering. This is the G35 suspension of choice in G35 racing applications and we recommended them for any lowered G35. The sliding camber plate design is so strong that the 350Z race cars in Grand-Am Cup have bent rims without loosing their camber setting!

*These 350EVO control arms offer the widest Camber adjustment range out of "ALL" available control arms, appox +1/-3 degrees. This Adjustment range will depend on your cars ride height.

Nice, but..... for just the front's you have here.....

At that price, I can just get the ---- SPC Front and Rear Camber/Toe/Caster Adjustments, plus have them installed cheaper than this.

I've bought SPC front camber before and I sold it for a lot less because of:
https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/130848-my-spc-arm-installation.html
https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/126054-spc-poll.html
Read those threads and you'll see why it's good to spend this much money for front A-arm. I'm not forcing you to joint the list but you're welcome if you change your mind in later time.
By the way, I didn't create this thread to compare another product brand but I created for those who interested in purchasing for a small discount where they won't get if they buy it individually.

There are plenty of other options out. Seems like SPC did address the problem and fixed it, and still improving.

How so? According to last post here (Jan 20, 2007) https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=126054&page=6
"SPC is going to send me the first prototype arm unpainted to install and test out. If everything goes well they will continue with production ..."
If that sounds to you like "did address the problem" - I agree with you. But "fixed it" - no way. It would take months and tens of users to actually get any statistically reliable information. Moreover, if you want reliability - then you would have to wait another 6 months to see how those a-arm perform in the longer run. 350evo is completely different story ... You get what you pay for ... I am definitely in!

i can vouch for these arms. quality seems very solid and reliable.
SPC is a good alternative but i'd wait till the new revision releases.

only thing to remember about the evo arms is that u will only get 1degree of positive adjustment. im dropped about 1.5-1.75 and my camber is maxed out at -0.8 with toe in at 1/18".

Up to this point, I didnt mean to pick a fight with anyone in here about which front camber A-arm makers/brands are cheaper or better. I just provide some brief details on each kit that is available for our G35 for you guys to see, so you would have idea which one best suit to you, your pocket, your car, and your driving style.

And of course, my flamesuit is on and my swords are raised at this time!!!

Thanks,
T

P.S. Please feel free to tell me if there is any misinformation up there so I can edit it.

What about the new Megan ones and why was the Cusco A-arm not mentioned?
