Swap Tein Basic for H-Tech/D-Spec????

Okay here I go.

I just got a call today from a guy who has the (Z) H-techs (installed)
and has the D-Specs coming in later this week.

He knows I have the T-Basics and also knows I'm not fooling with
the drop anymore.
But he wants to be able to adjust (Raise some) of
his drop.

He wants to trade (even swap) H-Techs w D-Specs for my set-up.

Now since I only went around .8-.9 and will have to do the spring mount
mod to get everything even with (Z) H-Techs. This may be a better fit for both of us???

Thoughts? Leave it alone and tell him sorry or ???

depends on if you plan on adjusting your dspecs for different driving conditions. If no, then keep the basics as they are stiffer and already have matched dampening. From a performance aspect, the htech/dspec combo may be slightly better, but not a whole lot if it is, but it will let you adjust how soft or stiff you want your setup which the basics don't have

how old are your basics (how many miles are on them)? your basics are worth more...

i would say yes, you'd need to do the spring mount mod to achieve your desired/ideal drop.

ask yourself...do you need the adjustability the the dspecs offer? if not...keep what you have man...

i opted for the basics because the stiffness, i feel, is perfect...and ride height is the only thing i was concerned with adjusting.

Me personally would have to tell him Sorry. At least if you need to raise your car up for whatever reason you can. And with the Teins you have a lifetime warranty to send them back for whatever reason ie: shocks leaking, blown struts etc. Keep them!

These things are still babies. 300 miles on them.

I dont remember seeing anything with lifetime warranty. I am thinking
I may want to raise a lil for winter months. You never know.

Thanks for the feedback. Going to keep them And yes, I think they
are worth more
