I have a 06 G35 coupe. I was wondering how can you tell if it has rear active steering? I have a damaged control arm on the rear suspension and need to replace it. I need to know if I have rear active steering or not.

Look under the rear suspension of the car where the lower spring perch arms attach to the body. Do they attach to a steering rack-looking thing? Then you have RAS.

 

2006 +

 

when you turn the the key to power, look at the guage cluster and you will see RAS

the RAS light goes off when your engine is on

 

what GTT says 2006+ RAS was optional

 

I don't think I have RAS. I took a Picture can you guys confirm that.

if your car is a 2005 then for sure you do NOT have RAS

it was introduced in 2006

When I registered for the forum I had a 2005 at the time.
