I'd get the new ones but I would say 500.00 installed would be more ideal!

yea i've been looking at the tein flex and the hks rs coils, but they're 1500 a pop. i've read that the flex makes a lot of noise but haven't really been able to research the hks. i've seen a lot of good reviews about the basics and it seems like a good alternative for being less than half the price.

You can probably find a better deal as it's more of a starters choice.

I spoke with a fellow G owner and told me the basics ran pretty comfortable, were as I hear alot of complaints with how stiff the flex are. Anyone here that before or know from personal experience.

Not trying to hijack the thread here, figure tein owners would be here answering

i like my basics. havent had any problems with them. they will most likely be up for sale soon as well. i am lookin gto move to the stance gr+3's or the gr+. hopefully they will get their act together and get the gr+3 back out.

for the people running the flex kit. i dont think its that stiff. they prolly just arent used to having a stiff car and arent running the correct dampening for street use verses track/ aggressive driving use.

i bought my basics with ~800 miles on em for $650 and installed em myself. So $650 installed sounds like a good deal to me.

sorry for the off topic here. As a new g owner I'm not aware of the stance issue your refering to with the gr+3. Suspension is definately going to be one of my first mods. Thanks

On topic, let me know how it goes with the basics. Best of luck
