chaning the arms takes ~ 10 mins ,

there are 5 nuts/bolts you must take off the do this ,
1. Compression rod Ball joint nut ,
2. bushing nut
3.4. the 2 bolts holding the "rod" that comes form the side, near the jack point
5 the small screw holding the palstic undertray to the above mentionned rod

then hammer it off on both ends .

It takes 10mins to change, the compression rods? Can I do this with a jack and basic tools? The dealership wants to charge ~3hrs.

the only thing you might have a problem with is the ball joint nut ,
but it`s an easy job and can easily be done with basic tools
: sockets , hammer , a torch might be good for you if you have no air gun ,

i have to change it on my dad`s car ill try to snap some pics

but if you have any questions just call me : 514 839 3283 David

dude if you could drive to my house lol ill do it for you for free it`s really nothing
i live in montreal canada

I'm from montreal too!!

I got the same god damn problem .. big noise in the front end. You changed your compression rods?

What about changing only the bushing of the compression rods. Do you know anybody that can do that ?

Does anyone knows if the compression rods bushing in the TSB will fit on a 03 coupe?
