Tein Basics without Spring Perches

has anyone taken the perches out on their basics?
my new replacement springs have finally come in after the orginals being stolen while at a shop. so i have been thinkin about just putting the spings in by themselves. when i had the basic rears in there was about a 1/2 to 1 finger gap in the rear. i currently have tanabe df210's in the rear and they are tuckin tire a little.

the purches are about 2" tall from where the spring mounts to the top of the perch. so that would put the car almost all the way down close to the rim.

if put the bottom rubber boot then in the picture of the wheel the car would raise up about a 1/2". shown above

what do you guys think? has anyone taken the perches out and have a pic of it?

as of right now my axels are at a pretty good angle. not sure how much more they can take. what about raising the diff? anyone done that yet? maybe get some spacers made for it, to lessen the angle?

no what you are talking bout is the bump stop. didnt think about removing that one but not a bad idea. what i am talking about is the gold perch that adjusts the ride height

I would remove the perch before removing the rubber springmount, it holds the spring centered, without it, the spring may pop out of place, or at least knock against the metal subframe during hard cornering, depending how long the spring is.

yeh i didnt really want to remove the rubber bump stops due to them holding the spring. the tein basic springs are 90mm springs.

alright so i finally got everything put back together, and within an hour of finishing the car is now down for the count again.
see here: https://g35driver.com/forums/florida-g-club/174009-so-here-how-my-car-looked-7pm-last-night.html
and here: https://g35driver.com/forums/florida-g-club/174047-so-here-how-my-car-looks-now.html

anyways, i decided not to run without the perches. if i were to do that im pretty sure i would be close to tucking rim. right now i am tucking tire, and have about 1.5 to 2 inches of tire showing and the perches are about 2 to 2.5 inches tall so yeh. i can barely make it out of my complex as it is now, so the car wont be goin any lower for a while.

the order from top down goes. rubber upper mount, spring perch no collars, spring, lower rubber mount.

here are some pics if you dont want to check the other threads, these are before driving around and gettin them to settle alittle and even out.

driver side this morning after driving around. it appears to have settled about another quater inch
