Post TEIN inner and outer tie rods

So my car was having this funny vibration that I know all to well when you have a lowered vehicle. So Monday I raised the car up on the lift and turned my right rim to see if it would move and boy oh boy did it . I did it on the left rim as well and got the same result. Usually driving at speeds between 55mph and 80mph I would get this slight vibration in the wheel. I had recently gotten my rims balanced and a wheel alignment but that did not seem to solve the problem. So I ordered the TEIN inner and outer tie rods which cost me 205.00 for both sides and had them next day aired for an extra 55.00. They got here yesterday afternoon and I headed off to my cousins shop to install them

The old tie rods were done ! There was so much play in the jonit that I was surprised it didn't snap. The TEIN tie rods are definately worth the money . Even though I still have to go get an alignment which i will be doing today, there is quite a noticeable difference in the stability when driving, especially when turning. The tie rods are way thicker than the OEM ones so the chances of breaking or bending one is reduced a lot. The tie rods can also be set to increase the steering angle.

Part numbers are TRS01-P2410 for the inner tie rods and TRS01-P2420 for the outer tie rods. I ordered them trhough a local shop here in Boston.

I take it those rods work on stock applications?

You say you ordered them for Both Sides? But not both ends, (F&R) I take it.

When I had my alignment done last month (and toe in again readjusted
after 6 mos) my mechanic said the stock ones are like toothpicks.

I ordered both inner and outter tie rods fro the front. We don't have tie rods in the rear. The stock ones are no where near as good structural quality of the TEIN tie rods. There is a notciable difference when comparing the OEM ones to the TEIN.

My bad! The toe in at the rear is set with the radius arm along with other adjustments. Although those are available for after-market too.
thanks for the info! Nice upgrade.
