6 piston 14in slotted rotors
Re: 6 piston 14in slotted rotors
noise, vibration, harshness
Wilwood uses a billet aluminum caliper which is the lightest aftermarket caliper available. The only tradeoff is rigidity. It tends to flex slightly more than other "big brake kits." On this particular application (14" brake kit), the design of the caliper is improved vs. the standard 13" Superlite caliper. All in all, differences between 4 and 6 piston kits are minor, but Wilwood makes a great product and most people *think* 6 pistons are better than 4. The only negative comment I have in regards to Wilwood is that they do not have piston dust boots. So for everyday driving I do not feel their kits are suitable. However, on a caliper with these boots, they will burn off the first time you autocross a vehicle. Also, on my kit (13" superlite), the finish was less than desireable. They may have improved on this, however.

Re: 6 piston 14in slotted rotors
Try a different pad (preferably ceramic). They have the least dust. I am not sure what is available for the brembos, but I'm sure someone here knows of a ceramic pad that will fit.
