03-04 Sedan lowered questions...
So I've done a few research on this site, pretty new to the forum, and a proud owner of a Ivory Pearl Sport Tuned G Sedan on Nismo kit(Aero). Now I was handed down free 2006 Z shocks and springs and I installed it, its gave me a 1.5 inch drop but I was wondering, will it lower more if I put Coupe or Z lowering springs such as Tein S-techs Skunk2 or Espelier? I want to know if anyone has done such setup. I wanna clear the gap between the tire and the fender a little more. What lowering spring and shock set up are you sedans on? Would appreciate the help
This is how it sits as of right now on 06 Unrevised Z suspension(Shocks and Springs) only 9k on them and added 3k to them so far

Welcome the moderators will probably move your tread to the brake and suspension forum pretty soon. You will find the specs for all those springs that you mentioned on the first page of this sticky.

Most of use with springs have the Eibach Prokit or their sedan S-techs those that are lower than that have coilovers. There's really not too many guys that have the 350z/G35coupe secs of those springs. So don't expect too much feedback on them. Most will say get coilovers if you want to go lower than the 350z suspension you have now. They will run you about 800 for the tein basics. Which isn't bad considering what you are getting. Plus you will run into needing a camber kit if you don't want to deal with uneven tread wear.

I have 350z/G35 coupe springs I wanted even drop both front and rear don't mind the extra gap since sometimes I do have to use the back seats. Even with your 350z springs you might want to get a camber kit front or rear depends on what your alignment specs look like when you get your alignment. I personally think OEM springs are the best choice for comfort and maintaining a close to stock feel in the ride. The S-Techs will give you a lower drop and they are pretty cheap.

That is definitely not a OEM 350Z spring drop unless you have taller stock tires which it appears you don't. Your drop is about .75" lower than a 350Z spring drop so my guess is you've already got some sort of aftermarket spring on there. Be very aware that your drop is going to cause major tire wear issues, especially if you even go with wider than stock tires and rims.

It is possible they are z springs and if they are, the person who sold them to you most likely cut coils. Look at the G sedan on z springs thread and you will see why everyone is saying you are too low for z springs.
If you want to fill the wheel gap get 20's.

Cutting springs is no bueno, I was comparing my Sport Tuned Shocks vs. 350Z shocks with both springs installed. I put them side by side from the top hat to the bottom fork of the shock, The Sport Tuned Suspension was definitely taller than the Z suspension, about maybe half an inch to maybe about an inch. Springs are not cut, I pretty much took it of his Z and installed it on my Sedan, the ride feels great, but IDK why I am lower than what you guys think, I can put about a finger between the fender and the tire, bump stops were not cut nor are the shocks blown. Oh well.....

^ i certainly hope you are wrong about the springs being untouched. i am going to be installing Z springs off an '06 soon, but i don't want a drop like you realized. everything i have read to date, your post being the exception, indicates that a sport sedan will see ~0.75"-0.9" drop with the revised Z springs.
a 1.5" drop is almost double what others have reported, and would make getting your alignment back into spec nearly impossible without further mods. plus, it appears much lower than i would find comfortable in a sedan.
