Thumbs up Good to know when lowering.

So i finally got my G lowered this past weekend, and it looks great! No more fender gap! So i figured i would post to let anyone thats wanting to lower their car without worrying with the hassle of camber kits. If your not wanting to go too low or slam you car, and just wanting something practical and that looks and rides great, then i recommend the TEIN S-tech. I bought mine from a member on here that had them on his coupe and had no tire wear issues or camber issues. So now i have mine lowered and took it to Infiniti and it alligned with no problems. And i drive out of town for work, so there are no signs of tire wear yet. Which we all know can happen very quickly. So If you wanting to save a few hundred bucks in camber kits then i think the S-techs are the way to go. I'll post pics in the media section later this weekend before and after. Thanks.

i'm not so sure about that... i have slight camber already with Z H-techs, which lower the car less than the S-Techs. i had pretty bad tire wear on the insides of both the rear and front tires. i don't think you can make a generalization about tire wear due to camber based on a few days of you driving out of town

^^^ I had S-Techs on for a little over 2 months without running a camber kit. I was perfectly in spec and had no tire wear problems for the duration of the time time they were on my car

I don't know how you can be perfectly in spec on the front with s-techs when the camber isn't adjustable. I was out of spec on the front with h-techs

I have the S-Tech and it's fine so far. The alignment guy said I don't really need. I think my front was off more than my rear. It doesn't rub the fender or anything. I am rubbing now because I have on 25mm Spacers all around. But before that, car's fine.

Do younguys have the s techs for the G or Z. Cuz I think the G ones dont really lower that much. I have the z htechs, and I am out of spec in both front and rear. I corrected the rear with camber kit but left the front alone. Hence i just baught new tires lol.

They are the S-Thech. And the ones for the G dont really lower it that much at all. Its not even a full inch drop in the rear, and barely a inch in the front. I took pics of the tires the best i could they day i lowered it, so we'll see how it goes in about 6 months of driving.

+1 . . . Otherwise, this info can be quite misleading/costly to other members.
