Well...I was trying to get the meat of the matter about why people use 350z springs / coup Springs instead of aftermarket Teins / H&R / Eibach ect ect. Its cheaper. Got it. But how do people acquire this "frankenstein" set up? Is there a forum for the used parts too?

Lastly...I think most people are concerned because tires / wheels sit so differently all the time, people get confused on what to do without ruining in their car and that is outside of the financial ramifications.

But like Texan1 said...Po Po came and regulated. So party is over. I guess I'll just "feel my way through it" with my 3 fingers...

Speaking of that...What did happen to the strippers?

You can get them in the marketplace on here, as well as on my350Z.com (for the Z-springs and possibly some shocks). That's how I ended up getting mine.....a little patience & daily searching and you'll come up with the setup. I'm very happy w/ the z/coupe spring setup. If you do go that route, and still want a slightly smaller gap, you can do what I did and next time you get new tires, go with 245/40/19's....a little more meat & fills up the fenders slightly more.
