thats what i suspected. having the (quality) paint on the rest of the rotor is great for decreasing rust. im running on new piaa wheels here in cleveland & it either rains or snows my rotors always seem to have rust on them!! sucks. I think i throw my stocks back on.

your the guy w/t new rotors? what did they run you & can y run yr stock calipers?

I ordered the premium rotors directly from R1 concepts a few months Ago. I don't remember how much I paid but if you go to their site you can get a quote on the premium rotors. They're basically an in-house machine shop - it's just like buying stoptech rotors (they use the same blanks).

As you can see in the photos, my stock calipers work just fine with them.

How long does the paint need to drive before I can drive my car?

I would let it sit for 24 hrs before driving, but you could probably wait less than that and all would be fine.

Notice how nice the paint looks with the gold color and the metallic flakes In order to really appreciate them you have to see them.. they really do stand out even when the sun isn't shining on them.
