First off I have done a search and looked through 15 pages and couldn't find one I needed. I replaced my front brake rotors and pads on my 04 coupe. They were squeaking pretty bad now that I have the car back to the tune of 350 bucks I am still getting the squeak. Is this normal to have your brakes still squeak when they are brand new? Any help would be great.

 

you have to bedd* them correctly...if it's not that then I bet they forgot to put on your pad shims.

 

How do you correctly seat them?

Bull3t, you were right on the money in your second opinion as well about brake squeaking. I got my brakes done about 5 months ago and squeaking hasnt stopped. I took it to the dealer last week and I was told that front brake shims are missing.

Do you know where I can buy brake shims?
