Removing Rotor

I have a missing stud and I have tried to remove the rotor now twice unsuccessfully. I have tried hitting the ever-loving **** out of it for 15 minutes solid with no luck (and yes I have removed the caliper). This is a front rotor, is there anything else I can try and do?? I am going to pull out all of my hair over this.

like the rear rotor, it has two screw holes on the hat. find a screw that fits that hole, usually the bolt that holds the calipers on fits in there. that should be it. it's just rusted tightly.

I used a bolt from a steering wheel puller to screw (push) out the rotor. There is only one hole on the OEM rotor.

Did you try penetrating oil like Astroglide.

Serious about the penetrating oil though, something like WD-40.

Are there any brake specail tools need to change out rotors. I noticed the big nut in the center of the rear rototr.

Anyone have a link for a how-to on this? I'm still trying to figure what I need to do to get the calipers off.

You just need the right size socket and a breaker bar for the calipers. There is a thread somewhere on here on doing brake service, I will see if I can find it.

Edit: I found it, there are alot of DIY videos here by BYTHEBAY: https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy...eo-series.html

Where would I squirt the WD-40 on the rotor? Back, front, in the stud holes?
