Can you mix/match Rotors / calipers?

stupid question but I was just wondering if you can do this. I have the rotora bbk 6/4 pot set up. My rotors are getting pretty bad and wanted different rotors. buying just the rotors are a big costly and wanted something else. any suggestions. No one can give me the right answer. thanks

Steven

If you can get the exact same size rotor, I don't see why not?

you have to make sure the hat offsets are the same also.

Exactly. If the above is common, you might be able to find some other bbk maker offering compatible rotors but I doubt they would be much cheaper. 2 pc rotors are pricey but alot lighter than the same sized 1pc units. But you don't have to replace everything, use the same hat and just replace the rotor portion. From what I read, yes they are expensive but also last much longer(reducing their cost)

If you want to run cheaper 1 pc rotors, good luck finding them. And even if you could find 13" or 14" 1 pc rotors, they will weight a friggin' ton.

You silly girl. Z/G owners get pretty/flashy gigantic aftermarket bbk's for looks, not performance. Who cares about physics like mass and stopping distances and heat dissipation and performance? Thought you knew.

just got off the phone with my peeps at rotora, yes you can but the offset has to be right most bbk for the G35 are standard with 355 size and can be swapped out. i cannot just buy the rotor and keep my hats because i have the first Generation of the bbk (3 years old) they made a V2 and the hats are different and colored now. joy
