Steering Wheel Vibration

I have a 2005 G35 Coupe.
Lately, I've been able to feel more bumps on the road, and the steering wheel seems to vibrate and/or shudder more.
Also, when I drive on the highway, at higher speeds, I feels even more bumps on the road.
And, when I am on the highway, and I am driving along the curve of the road, there is definite vibration and shudder from the steering wheel.

Do I simply need my wheels balanced, or could it be more complicated than that?

vibrating wheel at higher speed is usually due to an alignment issue. Just get it checked and tires balanced.

The same thing has happened to me. But for me its been at a normal speed (25-40mph). When i slow down the wheel will shake and so will the shifter. it has happened like 3x but i haven't really found a real cause for it... it could be the alignment.

"vibrating wheel at higher speed is usually due to an alignment issue."
Vibration is NEVER caused by alignment issues unless the alignment parameters have destroyed the tires, wheels, rotors, bearings, or tie rod ends.
Now slop in steering can be pinion wear/tension or grossly mis adjusted off center toe.

Vibration when braking hard or at high speed is caused by warped brake rotors, you need to replace them.

If the vibration gets worse as the speed goes up your wheels are unbalanced. Before you take it in try cleaning the wheels off, it doesn't take much mud stuck to the inside of the wheel rim to cause a vibration. this kind of vibration is most often felt threw the steering wheel.

Bad alignment will cause the car to pull to one side and in general the car will not track straight on the highway. Unless you lowered the car or screwed around with the suspension system a bad suspension system won't cause a vibration.

Tire cupping is also a problem on the G35 coups with staggered tires because you cannot rotate them. This will also cause a vibration as speed increases.

"Tire cupping is also a problem on the G35 coups"

Tires on G35 don't usually cup, they do however suffer from heel toe feathering.

True, tire cupping is rare on the G because the rear tires are often burned off long before tire cupping can occur.
