Stumped...I haven't touched any of the hoses and it only happens when its cold outside and I first start the car...

RCMCFE. Maybe that valve is sticky? It wouldn't be that hard to try one from a buddy's G? I'd certainly try it before thinking it was the master cylinder.

True, but would the master cylinder be faulty only when its cold outside?

I dunno. If I did know, I wouldn't suggest playing around with the brake booster hose.

Never heard of a MC only being faulty when cold, it's either broken or not!

Try this next time you go to drive( when it's cold) before you start the car take off that hose(the ont greengoblin posted) and blow in it and see how hard you have to blow for air to go through.(Air will only go 1 way, blow fron battery side opening to the opening that connects to the plenum)

Weird, this happened last winter also, but when it started getting warm outside, it stopped.

^Yeah and it get's alot colder in NY than CA. might just be some moisture that's causing the valve to stick when it's really cold!

Damn got here to late cause that is all it could have been....glad it was something minor.Little **** like this freaks me out when it such a simple mistake.
