im confused just installed f/r camber kit

i bought the ichiba front arms and rear arms with toe bolt .. i installed everything but the toe bolts and took it to a shop that is supposed to specialize in lowerd proformance cars .. well fast foward 3 hrs later the specs were worse then oem with out the camber kit . i went to fire stone a few months ago with oem camber adjustments they got 3 wheels in spec and said i needed a camber kit to correct everything and i used that print out as a refrence for this alignment .
i wanted my camber in factory spec . this is the out come 1.8 /1.3 front and
1.4/ 1.5 rear im lowerd on sedan s techs and now the car pulls to the right . the guy said the front a arms were maxed out . i dont get it can anyone chime in and help me . i was under the assumption that this camber kit f/r/toe bolts will correct any issues . it made it worse then stock .. the guy told me these kits are made for neg camber not positive ..

thanks

None of that sounds right at all. Now maybe I don't know much about the ichiba camber kit but with my SPC full kit, I was able to get back into spec. From the sound of it, either something was miss installed (I don't know how possible that is) or the shop you took it too just f'd everything up.

Hope it all works out for you. Sorry to hear man

Generally true that most arms don't have too much positive camber correction ~0.5 degrees. However you're only running S techs so I'm pretty sure those arms should barely get you back into the spec ranges.

I'll let someone with the Ichiba arms chime in on that though. One of the main reasons I went with SPL was for more positive camber correction....

What the hell shop is this? They sound like a bunch of morons that cant do sh_t. Youll be amazed at performance shops that do such radical performance cars cant even do such simple mechanical tasks such as allignments.

Please tell me the name so im sure to never take my car there.

The ichiba front kits are like the cusco arms and only allow minimal positive adjustment. They were designed for adding additional negative camber. The rears are spc kits though and should allow for plenty of adjustment. Did they install the toe bolt on the end of the spring bucket and elongate the hole on the subframe for the additional adjustability?

A lot of people don't install the toe bolts correctly. My shop was able to get the alignment back into spec, with Tein Basics set to their lowest ride height.

i just looked under the car and to my suprise there were the OEM toe bolts . its kinda funny because 1 ichiba toe bolt is in the camber arm hole (i didnt install it there )and 1 was on my pass seat missing the washer .. i have to order another set of toe bolts and try this agin .
WITH ANOTHER SHOP ...

twitch .. im not going to name the shop or talk neg about them over the net the owner didnt charge me because he new his tech f*ed up royally ,its just kinda scary because your trusting these guys to build your turbo cars and they cant even install toe bolts ,not even in the correct spot nor get an alignment correct .
