Are brembo brakes only on the 03 and 04 model 6mt's or are they on the 05's as well.

Yes they are only on the 6MT 03 and 04 coupes. 05+ use regular infiniti calipers.

i was gonna ask the same thing.

 

if i am not wrong both models 60-0mph distance is roughly 110+ ft.

so the performance is similar.

 

but the brembos look so sexy

 

People say brembos are better for track use where constant braking is applied. More resistant to heat,fade, warping, etc.
IMO, It just depends on the quality of the pads itself, but i'm assuming that they're referring to the hardware itself about being durable in track situations...I'm not 100% sure.

Like Deez said, the Brembo stock for stock will resist fade much better than the basic style calipers. They also have higher clamping force and increased pad surface contact if I recall correctly.

You can upgrade the basic OE system with better lines, pads, rotors and fluid and get a much improved setup that will more than likely survive a day of auto-x and roadcourse events, but if you want that added performance with the look to go with it, then there's nothin better than a brembo-type setup.
