I'm saving up for real wheels. Hopefully by the end of summer I'll get them.

If you have all the right tools and you follow instructions, the install should be easy-medium. The hardest parts for me were getting off some of the bolts and removing the front strut assembly from the car.

Spend the extra money now, be safe, and overall save money. Good luck.
Agreed spend the extra $$ now and save your tires, ask me how I know even with a mild drop on Htechs.

ok so just for some clarification, you installed an aftermarket full coilover kit or did you just swap springs. I have a set of tein basic coilovers that I want to install. The shop in the dlrship i work for wants 75 a strut. 300 total job. Is this seriously something I can pull off with a friend in a driveway? I always hear about springs potentially popping off and smacking someone in the face doing serious damage ? ? ..... Literally this is the beginning of my mod process... just wanna do it rite cause i also have to pick up tires, and id rather spend the money there....

I did just springs, but coilovers (if they come assembled with the spring mounted on the shock) are easier and less time consuming. It all depends on how mechanically inclined you are. I would get the right tools and dedicate a whole day to it and save yourself $300. Make sure you have PB Blaster, which helps remove bolts and nuts that are on tight. Main thing is to not strip any bolts, put everything on right, and tighten up everything enough. PM me with any questions. I encourage you to try it and hit me up if you get stuck. I'll let you know where I had trouble if you plan to do it.

I just got done installing all 4 rotors and brake pads on my friends TL. it took 7 hours but it was worth it because I learned a lot and we did it right. Hardest part was taking out bolts and screws that were rusted on.
