I'm trying to post up as much info as possible.

People will be able to make a faster decision with all options on one page. If they're 1) performance oriented or 2) for looks only or 3) if they have space limitations etc, this should help make a hazy decision clearer. Can someone sticky this?

ARC bar FTW..!!! Fits my 5/16 spacer with my engine cover on.. pretty sure it'll fit any spacer or plenum..!!!

i sold my stillen sway to a member here and he had 5/16 spacer.. we installed it but it had no room for the motor to move under throttle.. it rubbed the crap out of his plenum.. he had to take it off. i think maybe washers needed to be used under the brackets..

GT spec bar.. Tony at Riverside infiniti will hook u up...
i bought it but never installed it..

i came across an ARC bar and it looks and fits perfect..
bought it used on the forum for $450..
i think my friend is selling his for $500... when he got the TEIN comfort sport coilovers, the brackets for the ARC or any bar for that matter would not fit, due to no threads showing from the coilovers... make sense,,?

Are there still no options for rear strut tower bars that don't eat up rear trunk space? I've been waiting for someone to angle the mounts up so the bar sits flat across the top, underneath the rear deck, rather than cutting off the rear trunk space. (I don't think the lower under-car GT spec braces have the lever arm distance to be effective, and end up reinforcing the strongest part of the chassis rather than the weakest).

On another note, the VRT front strut tower brace/bar is impressive. I posted a review on it a long time ago but should still be on this site. It is also chromoly steel, like the RA bar (Scott Bush designed the VRT bar, which luckily was originally intended for the JWT TT kit, which I have). I could never recommend it to anyone except someone with hard code fabrication skills because cutting and grinding steel may be required for fitment!

Just installed the GT Spec bar. It seems like it will fit with most any spacer, but I don't know about with the engine cover. I run it with a 5/16" spacer at its lowest possible setting (I don't use my engine cover) - seems like you should be able to raise it another 3/16" (1/2" spacer) and still not rub the hood. May not be able run engine cover + 1/2 spacer though.

So I have a crazy and possibly stupid question.... Will the Tanabe Sustec bar for the 350 fit on a G35? And if so, will it fit over a 5/16" plenum mod?

Which SB should I get? I've searched a lot about them and I've seen fitment problems. Do they all have them?
