compression rod and dealer alignment question

I searched and found a number of threads about the compression rods and I think it is my problem. Creaking when going over certain bumps and occasionally when turning the wheel while stopped. My question is will the dealer do an alignment for free after they replace the rods? I have a 2006 G35x with 32k miles (still under warranty) Also my suspension feels slightly rough and bouncy in the back. What do the techs look for to determine if the shocks are gone? I made an appointment for Friday and am trying to get everything in order before I get there. The dealership is an hour away and I hate having to make two trips if possible and arguing with them to waive the diagnostic fee for warranty issues.

Thanks
