I plan on purchasing BC coilovers in the near future and considering going with the stiffer spring rate of 12k up front and 10k in the rear.
This is my DD and don’t plan on tracking the car. The reason I’m considering the stiffer spring is cause I plan on running an semi aggressive offset with a slight stretch.
For those that are running this setup, how do you like them? Are you wishing you went with the softer spring?

I'm actually wondering the same thing. I'm looking to order BC Racing coilovers in the next couple days, but want the most performance oriented spring rates. Will 12/10 make a noticeable difference?

i have bc racing 10/8 and i hardly rub the only time you will need spring rates like that is when you are doing a pretty aggressive setup
for what you want, the 10/8 that orginally comes from bc is more than enough, you won't rub if you know what you're doing

I'm running 14/12 setup and have no issues and can live with it comfortably.

Glex, did you find that the stiffer springs improved the handling much? Is it worthwhile to get the stiffer springs? Would you recommend 14/12 over 12/10?

if you are not going to track the car, stay with the 12/10. IMO 14/12 is too aggressive for the undulations and potholes, etc, you find on the street.

I'm looking to track the car a few times a year. My current coils are 12/8, but there's more body roll that I would like.
I track my car that is why I went with the 14/12 but I also drive my car or use to drive my car all year around and had no issues.
The stiffer setup definitely controlled alot of my body roll and squatting under hard braking but it hurt me on launch where it introduced more wheel hop which I will be addressing with a Diff brace and solid diff bushing.
My swaybar was setup med/med.
The roads are not that bad here but if I was to go to pothole central (NYC) then
the ride would be less than bearable.

10/8 are the original rates and will be stiff enough for your non-track DD needs. IMO, it's stiffer than I thought it'd be and I was expecting a little more comfort out of these coils, but then again, I have it sitting lower than what I intially intended.
BTW, if you want a rim tuck in the rear, you might want to get the optional shorter springs for the rear. 230mm is the standard, and the 210mm is the available shorter spring.

before opting to just buy a new set with revalved shocks and 14/12 spring rate

Dampening will play a bigger role in how comfortable the car is than going from 10k to 12k. BCs have pretty good adjustability when it comes to dampening.

The roads here aren't flawless, but I'm willing to live with a stiff ride for greater overall handling. I'd like the least possible body roll with the best steering response. In your honest opinion Glex, would you recommend that I go 14/12?
