I think you can achieve maximum lowness w/ the OEM setup when compared, but I can go LOW AS HELL w/ true coilover.. I'm not as low as I can go and I'm only 3.5" from the ground at my lowest point.

I can't go any lower w/out scraping the lane dividers off the pavement w/ my splitter..

Don't know how low you intend on going, but I can't get any fingers between my wheel and fender all the way around.. So that's PLENTY low.

Sounds naughty....but nice at the same time........thats the response I was looking for....I was tucking my rear tires with the 20's I was running on the Stance TRUE coilover setup and had more room to go lower but my exhaust was scraping everywhere....LOL....

lol was just pulling his leg, i'm gonna try and install mine for the simple sake of knowing how to adjust them when i need to but as soon as i draw blood i'll be hitting you up

I COULD do the installs (R1 gives me no credit), but why not have the best do it, and help out a friend w/ business at the same time..

Ok so what about the guys that just want something better than new springs and shocks. I'm riding on 20's and my shocks have simply died. I just replaced them 8 months ago and they are dead. I do city and highway driving but i drive my baby slow. I simply want something that i can ride on that is nice and smooth and will be ok on the 20s. I do think my g will ever see a track or auto x. Just want her to be smooth and driving right.

I'm considering picking up a set of these coils instead of getting a spring/shock combo. I read that some of you switched to a true coilover set-up due to bounciness in the rear. I'm just wondering if it could be eliminated by adjusting the dampening more.

I definitly don't want a bouncy rear end, and really don't have a need for the true coilover setup. I'm looking to drop between 1-2 inches, but would like the adjustability in case I want to go lower.

IMO just go with true coilover setup. It's really easy just takes maybe 15-30 minutes more when installing

just received my MDU's on Tuesday and had them installed on Thursday, took 14 days to deliver, dam!!

First impressions was the rear was too bouncy, so I had them adjust the dampening. He tightened the stiffness to max and the rear is perfect now, no bouncy and the ride is still comfortable. I still need to adjust the front cause it bottom out when I went over a speed bump but I believe I can do this without removing the tire/suspension.

Can anyone confirm if you can adjust the front stiffness without taking the tire/suspension out?

Yes, you can adjust the stiffness of the fronts from the engine bay. The ***** are poking through and can be adjusted by hand.

Any coil/spring DIY should be a big help for you.
