What style of Akebono Pro-Act? Amazon has a few styles of it. Also it just says a set, doesn't say if its for the front or rears

as far as I know the Akebono Pro-Act are only one style/kind...ceramic. be sure to put in your cars year, make and model and they should come up no problem. you can also find these easily on Tire Rack.

this car is not tracked and I basically got the drilled rotors for looks. I drive my car hard, but not ridiculous so it does not need a very aggressive pad compound. my biggest concerns are obviously adequate stopping power, no noise, no dust and a smooth pedal feel. the Akebono's satisfy all these requirements.

IMO the OEM rotors, Akebono ceramic pads, StopTech SS lines and Motul fluid make a great combination for a street driven, higher powered GT.
Nice! I will keep that in mind especially since there are cars in my family that will need new brakes soon. True, I have inexpensive slotted rotors from 88rotors. Blanks would have been cheaper (and quieter) as well! I stuck with Axxis ULT since my drift/racecar and my old Maxima had them. They will tug on your eyeballs under initial braking and that's what I was after. I would say from my experiences from brake pads I would definitely avoid EBC Green pads. They're awful on a Subaru at least.

Glad you found a combo that works!

Good question. I don't know if Wagner makes pads for brembo equipped models. I did a quick search on RockAuto.com and it did not list those pads for your application.

Your best bet is Centric Posiquiet, (which might be similar to Thermoquiets and get good reviews here among vendors), Centric/Stoptech Super Street Performance (my next pad, ultra aggressive), or Centric Original Equipment formula (stocks are always good on our cars).

just picked up the wagner thermoquiet brake pads for the rear...they are semi-metallic and only make semi-metallic for the brembo package G's. I bought the rear ones just bcus its semi-metallic and want to see how they are...if they're good i will get them for the fronts as well (and let you all know). they are a premium brand for a good price...50 bucks for the rear and a lil short of a 100 dollars for all around...

If anyone has any confusion on looking up part #s from Wagner, I got this from their website.
